Delete your Etch data
Etch keeps everything on your phone. There is no NeoVetta account and no NeoVetta server, so there is nothing to request from us — you delete your data yourself, in the app, and it is gone.
Delete one recording
Open the recording in Etch and delete it. That removes the audio file, the transcript, and any title, notes, summary, and action items generated from it.
Delete everything
Uninstall Etch. Android removes the app’s storage, which is where every recording, transcript, and summary lives. Nothing survives anywhere else, because none of it was ever sent to us.
Stop new recordings
Revoke microphone access in Android Settings → Apps → Etch → Permissions. Existing recordings stay on the phone until you delete them.
Transcripts you sent to your own AI provider
If you turned on Your AI, Etch sent transcript text to a provider you chose and configured with your own key — OpenRouter, OpenAI, xAI, a model running on your own machine, or another endpoint you named. Deleting a recording in Etch does not reach that provider’s copy.
NeoVetta never receives that text and cannot delete it for you. To remove it, use that provider’s own data controls or contact them directly. On OpenRouter, the data policy is under Settings → Privacy.
